Hi, I'm Tyler 👋

I'm a content designer, UX writer, and content lead who's been wielding words for about two decades.

 

I've written and designed app content for millions of users in health and tech as well as mentored junior writers at companies including Medtronic, Caire, Limbix (Big Health), Mahana Therapeutics, Muse, Jour, MyLife (Meredith Corporation) Trainual, and Double.

I believe every user flow, style guide, and user interview is an opportunity to empathize, inform, and be human.

 

I've also been teaching mindful practices since 2011 after spending a year trying to learn Spanish as a journalist for the Tico Times newspaper in Costa Rica.

 

When I'm not thinking about words and users, you can find me running, playing tennis, and seeing the world with my partner and goldendoodle pup, Benji (he's a good boy).
